Wharekauhau Villas, Martinborough

Located within the grounds of the Wharekauhau’s 5000 acres of native forest, idyllic lakes and rivers are two cottages with breathtaking views over the South Wairarapa coastline. These are the perfect choice for families or groups of friends, offering privacy but with absolute access to all services and activities of the main lodge. Even better you can also choose the way you dine. Go self catering and revel in the Wairarapa’s amazing produce and wines (especially Pinot Noir), dine a la carte at the main lodge daily or make every day extra memorable and let Wharekauhau provide you with a full time private chef.

Wharepapa Cottage is a three-bedroom cottage with unparalleled views of Palliser Bay. Two double and one twin bedroom, two bathrooms with separate bath and shower, open plan living area with gas fireplace, under floor heating, laundry, full kitchen and dining area. Wharepapa Cottage is located 4 km from Wharekauhau Lodge and thus your own transportation is recommended.

Chateau Wellington is a truly luxurious three-bedroom villa offering the ultimate in privacy and luxury with spectacular views of Palliser Bay. 4,600 square foot in all, each of the bedrooms has a queensized bed, ensuite bathroom with separate shower and claw foot bath, gas fireplace and air-conditioning. The house has a large open plan living area with gas fireplace, full kitchen and dining area. Fully airconditioned, the villa is located just 1 km from Wharekauhau Lodge. 4WD vehicle available.
