Huntley Lodge, Christchurch

New ownership and recent renovations have further enhanced Huntley Lodge’s position as Christchurch’s leading luxury boutique hotel. Originally built in 1876 and set amidst park-like gardens, Huntley Lodge offers all the charms of yesteryear, combined with modern luxuries in a secluded environment. The main house retains many original features, whilst the newer, architecturally designed accommodation buildings are in harmony with their surroundings. The perfect place for relaxing whilst travelling on business or pleasure. Huntley Lodge offers an accommodation experience like no other, where the relaxed, friendly atmosphere is combined with the staff’s willingness to go out of their way to make each guest’s stay unique. Eggs from the resident chickens appear on breakfast plates, while the Lodge’s vegetable garden provides fresh seasonal produce. Each of the 12 guestrooms, a mixture of one and two bedroom suites, has a balcony or patio overlooking the pool and manicured lawns and features sumptuous fabrics, fireplace, spa bath and modern entertainment system.
