Glynn Christian brings unrivalled international journalistic experience to Navigate in the fields of hospitality, food and wine and travel. For the past four years he has written weekly for the NZ Herald and their Saturday magazine CANVAS, on food and cookery, hospitality venues, interior designers and as their restaurant critic. He is also an experienced food and wine judge: including most recently as Chief Judge for three years UK judge for the Hong Kong Food Festival.

During 35 years based in London he was first brochure writer for Clarksons, the pioneer of jet-based inclusive holidays from Britain, for whom he created a new style of brochure writing.

As a London-based food writer Glynn wrote weekly for the UK’s Sunday Telegraph and for ELLE UK for five years, as well as for such magazines as Punch, House and Gardens, BBC Good Food and Gardens Illustrated.

Glynn is probably best known in Britain as a television chef, first seen in 1982, which then led to four years on BBC Breakfast Time. Glynn has presented BBC-TV series on food and travel series in the eastern Mediterranean, New Zealand, California, Sri Lanka, China and Thailand. His latest series, currently playing Europe-wide on The Travel Channel, is the 26-part TASTING AUSTRALIA.

Glynn Christian has written more than 20 food and cookery books, including EDIBLE FRANCE, a guide to what to eat in France rather than where, and THE DELICATESSEN FOOD HANDBOOK, described by Nigel Slater as ‘one of the only ten books you need’.
